Games to build skills and reasoning

Often times, games that we play at home help to build both skills such as addition and reasoning. Consider playing these games:

• Connect 4, Mancala, Dominoes

• Toss Up, Yahtzee, Bunco, 99

• Cribbage, Mastermind, Battleship

• The classic game of War can be played in its traditional way to compare numbers, but consider flipping two cards per player which need to be added, subtracted, multiplied or divided then the result compared.
